Access Israel organized four activities over the course of two days on the Hevel Yavne Regional Council

Thanks to the subsidy of the Hevel Yavne Regional Council and the donation of Globrands, Access Israel was able to organize four activities in four summer schools!

The activity took place in three different locations:

The Ben Zakai Moshav - On the 3rd of august, the summer school students participated in a Sign Language Workshop, in which they learned to sign the song "Shavim".

The Noam School, Neve Hertzog On the 3rd of August, the summer school students split up into 4 groups and participated in four experiential stations: Wheelchair Obstacle Course, Accessible Graffiti Wall, Navigate while being blindfolded, games and activities while wearing large headphones which restrict hearing.

The Amihai School, Yavne Group On the 4th of August, the summer school students split up into 3 groups and participated in three experiential stations:  Wheelchair Obstacle Course, Blind Bowling, and games like "broken telephone game" while wearing large headphones which restrict hearing.

At the same time, summer school students from Washington Hill arrived at the Amihai High School, and split up into 3 groups and participated in the Accessible Graffiti Wall, Blind "GoalBall" game, and also played different games while wearing the hearing restrictive headphones.

We enjoyed coming to the school and organize our education activity. We met a charming and curious teaching staff and students.
