Hansen, Hebrew U join for spinal cord research - The Canadian Jewish News

Rick Hansen, the “Man in Motion,” was in Israel last week as part of a Middle East tour to announce a collaboration between his Rick Hansen Institute and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to increase research on spinal cord injuries.

While in Israel, Hansen also presented two Rick Hansen Difference Maker Awards, one to Dr. Aharon Lev Tov, chairman of Medical Neurobiology at IMRIC, and one to Yuval Wagner, chairman and founder of Access Israel, a non-profit organization that seeks to help Israel become more accessible for citizens with “an array of disabilities.”
